This prestigious new property on the bank of the Ishim River and within a new public park in the Kazakstani capital, Astana,  is destined to be a premier residential  address in the city. One of the two wings of the palatial building is to become 50 luxurious residences ranging in size from 250 sq metres up to a huge penthouse commanding uninterrupted views across the gardens and city. The apartments, which will be serviced by the adjacent hotel, will have a dedicated entrance as well as a VIP entrance linked to the underground car park.  The exterior has been styled to meet the client’s request for a building in the classical European manner and will be clad in pale stone with a dark slate roof.  The extremes of Astana’s climate, with very cold, windy winters and warm summers, were a major consideration in the architectural planning. For the winter months, it was key to ensure that the entrances were well protected. For the summer, it was essential to make sure that the luxury experience was heightened by a strong connection with outdoors. The building therefore faces south west overlooking the  gardens below. The interior design of the residences is being handled by Jeannet Property Design.
