Adare Manor, the ReardonSmith project completed at the end of last year, has been shortlisted in HD Awards in the new Restorations category that focuses on adaptive reuse projects and historic renovations. The winners of this annual award scheme from Hospitality Design magazine will be revealed at a ceremony at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York on June 6th 2018.

ReardonSmith was the Lead Architect on the multi-million-euro redevelopment of Adare Manor in Co Limerick’s, one of the world’s most prestigious golfing destinations. This included the design of new buildings as well as the restoration and refurbishment of existing properties, with the repair and enhancement of the surrounding 840-acre estate designed by ReardonSmith Landscape. Both existing and new buildings have become a series of interconnecting spaces that work with the landscape as a partner to the development, affording views and offering invitations to explore the gardens, parkland and protected woodland beyond.
